YAY!I GOT ACCEPTED INTO BBSS (Bukit Batok Sec Sch)! But I am tired. Like straight away after I came back from Australia. And sleeping on the plane is not nice. At all. Yup, I am planning to post everything that happened in Australia. WARNING: This post will be very very very very lengthy so read it at your own risk. Btw, pictures would be uploaded in this post too. =)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 1:
Plane. Midnight flight. Had trouble sleeping. Let's skip the details.
Morning time:
Woke up. Ate breakfast. Got down plane. Gathered around the tour guide. Tour package.
Went to Movie World. This is where the fun starts. =)
I actually intended to ride on Escape (epic roller coaster) but after waiting for like half an hour, the queue didn't move much and I went off coz I didn't bother to wait. Which apparently was the wrong thing to do (Sad huh?). Then went to sit the Giant Drop, which was only scary when you looked down but not enough to freak anyone out. Ate lunch at a cafe before playing Bumper Cars two times in a row (I like playing it) and kept colliding into my siblings intentionally. That is the fun of
it.
Next up, another roller coaster ride. This time, it is the Scooby-Doo ride. It may not seem scary, but it was totally unexpected. Totally. Went backwards. 0.0 Wasn't scary though.
Watch this performance about cars doing stunts. Nice to watch. I mean, they were freaking cool. Except for the smell. Which I hated the most of all things.
I think that we went to watch a parade after that and went to buy some ice-cream. Headed back to the hotel we were assigned to.
Day 2:
Water Park and Dream World. Super crowded. Had to squeeze here and there. Took train to the Australia Outback and fed the Kangaroos. I think all of them had be fed already, coz none of them ate the food I fed them, except for one greedy one. Seriously. Hugged a Koala too. Super nice feeling, so furry. I WANNA HUG IT TO SLEEP!!! Watched a farm show before riding on a roller coaster again (dun blame me, I like riding on them). THAT wasn't scary at all, besides, it was so short. Proceeded to have another ride, which you ride on this cart, and it goes all the way up to the top of the tower (no idea what it is referred as) and back down again. I played other rides too, but I figured there is no need to post about them.Lastly, went to play Alien vs Predator thingy, where you use laser guns to shoot the other team and avoid being shot by them. Someone pushed me down and I grazed my knee. It didn't hurt, but when in contact with water, it is like burning on your skin.
Lunch. Ate pizzas. Rested for 30 minutes before I changed into my swimming costume and headed for the Water Park, despite the pain in my knee. I played at this water playground with my siblings, waiting for this large bucket to pour water on you and went to the slides. Met someone from the tour group and both of us went to play the other water slide. Think it was Ripper. Enjoyed it, except for the part where we had to climb the flight of steps. Even played 2 times.
Had a shower before we went out for dinner.
Day 3:
In the morning, the tour guide brought us to this winery. It was for the adults but it was a tour package so...
We were supposed to take photos to put on the bottle as souvenirs but as usual my brother was in a bad mood and screwed up the entire thing. Got the photos though.
Went for this tour around the winery about the plants and animals there. I liked it. Found it interesting. Next, when the adults went in to drink the wine, people under the age of 18 were either hanging around or feeding grass to the goats.
Started to rain when we went for lunch. Nothing much to talk about.
Were supposed to go shopping. Boring.
Day 4:
Checked out of the hotel and took an hour ride to the jetty. Rode on this boat to this island where we were supposed to stay for the entire day. Reached there just in time for lunch.
Desert tour around 3. The ride there was fun but only lasted 10 minutes, sadly. We were required to take off our shoes and head to the top of this slope for sand tobogganing. Freaking. Fun. Ate sand after both slides.
Dolphin feeding on the beach! Required to take a fish to feed it. The water was so cooling, and the dolphins were friendly. Tangles and Shadow. Great experience. But the smell of the fish stank.
Day 5:
Pelican feeding (only the person was feeding it, the others watched). Took lots of photos for that. They look fake, with their gigantic eyes, like toys floating on water.
Went to the airport to catch the plane back to Singapore. Entire flight took 8 hours.
Exhausted when I reached home.
Photo time (I hope I don't screw up):
